Manish Ahluwalia, CEO and owner of Excel Limousine and Sedan,

started working in the transportation services industry while in college studying Civil Engineering. However, this part-time job soon turned into a full-fledged passion, and in 2007 he bought and took over Excel Limousine & Sedan.

With a dream to provide quality transportation services to clients all over the Bay Area, Ahluwalia drove all of his clients personally, established important business contacts, and fine-tuned his company’s philosophy of flawless and friendly service at economical rates. Over the course of five years, he grew his company from a one car operation to a full scale regional powerhouse with over a dozen employees and an extensive selection of late model, high-end vehicles.

Ahluwalia credits his success to his team and the company’s overall dedication to exceeding customers’ expectations.

Above all, Ahluwalia values the customer experience. When the recent recession impacted competitors in the area and gas prices increased dramatically, Ahluwalia worked hard to avoid any layoffs and was successful (nobody was laid off!). Further, he didn’t raise prices for his customers, as he wanted to maintain his customer’s loyalty and trust.

Due to Excel’s strong reputation  and steadily growing customer base, The company moved to a  larger office in February 2012, and they continue to implement regular improvements to their service options.
